Quality Reels - The Liquid maybe the entry level reel for the Lamson series of reels, but it's no cheapie. This is a quality robust reel with the same sealed conical drag as the other Lamson models. The Liquid is light, smooth running but tough. All my reels have a hard life, and I’ve wrecked or worn out quite a few. They get dropped on the ground, in mud, and frequently drowned in water. I’ve done the same to my Lamson Liquid reels but nothing stops them. I've now standardised all my reels to Lamson Liquid for my 4, 5 and 6 wt lines. I doubt I’ll be buying anything else for quite some time.
Recommend to a friend? Yes. Absolutely.
