Big Fly Fibre is used in the construction of mainly salt water patterns, it doesn't absorb water. Big Fly Fiber is an extra long, very fine fiber used for large flies. This is the Curled Version, (top end of the fibres are curled) this material fluffs easily to give the impression of bulk without excessive weight. As a result, big flies tied with this material are easy to cast
