Perfect for emerger parachute style dry flies - These hooks (I mostly use size 15 and 17) make For very effective parachute emergers. Tie them a dubbing herl, or biot body and add a tail or Krystal flash body as a spent shuck. The hook bend hangs beneath the water looking like a stuck hatching insect. They have worked for me for both caddis and upwing hatches. Also useful as a dry dropper rig.
