Finally, I have time to do a review on this vice. I purchased it a few months ago and have been tying on it since.
This vice is amazing. Aesthetically, it has all the looks. The quality and the precision of the workmanship is simply superb. Set up was effortless after following the instructions. Being a lefty, I changed everything over to suit; this went effortlessly.
This is a top end product, which the price dictates. For me it is money well spent. I would recommend this vice to anyone wanting a quality vice which will not only look good, but perform well. Money well spent.
For me there is only one negative, which was identified in Tim Camissa’s review four years ago. This was around the material holder fastening screw coming loose. This is still apparent however is not a biggy for me, and should not put people off thinking of purchasing.

Great vice - This vice is awesome. Really well made, simple and easy to use over a wide range of hooks from the small nymphs and dries of Autumn to the large saltwater baitfish patterns. Makes tying flies a joy.

High end engineering at a very good price - It has taken a few tries to find the perfect vise for me. This one is a real piece of art. Mostly I tie dry flies and nymphs from #08-#18 and all are very easy on this vice. The rotary function is very smooth. The base is solid and I find the pockets very handy for keeping beads and hooks in the right place. The bobbin arm has a u shape to it that gives much more clearance that the standard straight across and all of the adjustments are quick and easy. I have found the workmanship and finish on this vise to be of the highest quality and I can say this with confidence as I am an engineering machinest myself. You will not find better in this price range.
