Fantastic wee wet - Soft hackles in spring (and Wee Wets on the swing all summer) have gotta be the most traditional and effective way of getting a trout on the end of your line. These are a fantastic mid-water emerger pattern for all manner of mayfly situations. Swing 'em in the top film or if you're exceptionally cunning, tie them on a dropper off the back of a streamer and swing them underneath a rise to get the big guys holding off the surface.
